My Holiday

For the Holidays I went to my Dad's house I love going there to spend time with him and to always get away from house work.

When I went to my dads he gave me pocket money to spend for the two weeks but i didn't last for about a day.

On Thursdays my dad gets his money so we went up to masterton to spend the money at the warehouse Ilooked around for a while until i found a game I really liked so I bought it.

I like playing this game because you can make a town and collect things to sell.

The thing I like the most was going to my dads because i dont get to spend much time with him because he lives far away from me.

Do you like going away to another place or not?

My first favourite subject is cooking I love cooking sometimes I make dinner at home it's really fun except for the cleaning up part.

The reason why I love cooking is because we did Masterchef at school I made apple crumble.

The bed and breakfast star
By Jacqueline Wilson
“Naomi didn’t seem very thrilled about the idea of being thrown out of the O Yal Htl considering most of the letters were falling off the sign outside of it.”
This book is about a hotel that is called the Royal Hotel. Elsa expects a nice hotel with a TV and 4 beds, a typical paradise, but not this time. While entering the hotel she spins around really fast wondering if it would make a humming noise. Instead she pushes the revolving door into Mack’s legs. He shouts loudly, cursing. The life in that hotel is not what she expected at all.
“Pippa mumbled something in her sleep, but didn’t wake up. I picked my way across the crowded floor, tripping over Pippa’s  My little pony and stepping straight into a Kentucky fried chicken carton, but eventually reached the door, I opened it very slowly so it wouldn’t make a noise. As I stepped out I looked in the kitchen it was on fire I stared for a little while but then I started to heat up so with all my breath I shouted “Fire!!!!” I hope everyone will hear. “
This book is interesting. The life of Elsa turns into a disaster. I liked it because she is nice, she cares and she normally gets blamed for thing she didn’t do.

3. Lastly for the painting with a brush paint a tree a long straight line to the centre of the page or to what looks like it for the branches put a blob of black paint where the line has stopped grab a straw and blow the paint in curves or straight lines so they look realistic enough.

4. When you have finished your branches wait for it to dry always wait patiently if it is dry quick enough you can go on to the next stage which is get your hole puncher and your card and hole punch them until you think you have enough mini sized circles for your leaves.

5. Lastly you put you paste on the branches and on the ground don't forget the falling ones once you have finished your paste sprinkle the circles over the tree and they will stick to the paste finally wait for it to dry.

Me at my dads

During the holidays I went to my dads house he lives over in Featherston I like going to my dads because we climb a big hill that is just a few houses away from us my dad sometimes likes to stay at the bottom so when I get to the top I wave at him to see if he can spot me with the binoculars although the hill is very steep it's still fun to climb.

At my dads house I go on the new swing he made me and I play fetch with my dogs Sally and Karmer.

It's really exciting going to my dads because I get rides on his motorbike and we go to the park often but most of all I love visiting him it's hard not having your dad around all the time.

What did you do in the holidays and was it fun, exciting or boring with a capital B?!.

Topaz
The stars shine as I stare at the sky the galaxy surrounds me the moon forms a smile at me I smile back my eyes become drowsy I fall asleep.
I have dreams of the sky and the universe as what was seen before me the stars have the bright topaz glint as they glitch only made of gas that burn in your eyes if you ever went near them.
In my head I see a shooting star it zooms past my house it flickers the colour it resembles is topaz the bright blue locks that fill my eyes in my sleep.
I wake in the night to hear my mum’s footsteps walking up the stairs she checks on me to see if I was ok and sound asleep as she comes through the door I quickly but quietly turn over so she doesn’t think suspicious finally she leaves.
